Oriel Ffin y Parc Gallery OPEN Tues - Sat 10-5pm Sun/Bank Holidays 11-5pm Ffin y Parc Gallery opened just outside Llanrwst in North Wales in May 2010, and is one of Wales' premier galleries. The gallery occupies part of a Victorian house set in 14 acres of parkland with views along the Conwy Valley. Since May 2010 we have had monthly solo exhibitions by the gallery's artists, as well as an ever-changing mixed show featuring the best of contemporary Welsh art and works by renowned 20th Century Welsh Artists. We currently have works by nearly 50 artists and sculptors, with wide-ranging styles and subjects. Works by the current custodians of Snowdonia's long-standing tradition of dramatic landscape painting can be found alongside more abstract works, and work depicting our increasingly urbanised lifestyles, dealing with the issues that occupy our daily thoughts. The quality of the work is the only criterion really, and we aim to create an atmosphere that is friendly and enthusiastic. We love the works we show, and think they have something important to show us. We hope that our enthusiasm rubs off a little on those who come to the gallery!
